This webinar promoted the consideration of environmental and social safeguards in
infrastructure development, with a focus on transport infrastructure. The event highlighted activities by various agencies to support sustainable infrastructure development in the Mekong subregion, featuring speakers from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Australia’s Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I), and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
