Mekong Infrastructure Tracker
The Mekong Infrastructure Tracker platform is the premier resource for researchers to track, monitor, and quantify the development of energy, transportation, and water infrastructure assets and the social, economic, and ecological changes they bring to Southeast Asia.
SERVIR-Southeast Asia
SERVIR SEA works in partnership with leading regional organizations to help seven countries in Southeast Asia use information provided by Earth observing satellites and geospatial technologies to manage climate risks (Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam).
The LISA Project
In 2020, USAID launched their Linear Infrastructure Safeguards in Asia (LISA) Project—an assessment of the capacity of Asian countries to develop wildlife-friendly linear infrastructure focused on roads, railways, and high voltage power lines that sought to understand Asia’s existing capacity to provide safeguards, as well as the challenges and barriers that slow their adoption and implementation, to protect Asia’s diverse wildlife species and their critical habitats from the region’s rapidly expanding linear infrastructure. The LISA Project laid a strong foundation for a program that will promote measures that avoid, minimize, and mitigate environmental impacts through better linear infrastructure policies, planning, design, construction, and monitoring.
